The committee member, MP Mohammed Anouz, said today, Thursday, that political blocs wouldn’t be able to pass the oil and gas law and other controversial laws.
“Due to political differences over them,” Anouz stated, “The Legal Committee has a number of controversial laws that cannot be passed.”
“There are laws that cannot see the light of day during this session due to deep differences,” he continued, “most notably the oil and gas law, which has not been decided for four previous parliamentary sessions.” He went on to say that.
In the hope that it will be agreed upon, he emphasized that the law will be delayed until the following session.
