Alaa Al-Haidari, a member of the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee, predicted on Thursday that the ongoing war in Gaza would raise global oil prices.
Al-Haidari said in a meeting with , “This increment won’t influence the ongoing year’s financial plan, bringing up that oil markets are connected to many variables that could prompt an ascent in its costs worldwide, particularly those connected with the conflict among Russia and Ukraine, as well as the pressures happening in the Center East district.”
He added, “There is a variable that is pushing oil costs higher before long, noticing that worldwide business sectors have seen critical vacillations in oil costs after the flare-up of the conflict among Russia and Ukraine, as well as the conflict to kill the Palestinian public.”
He made sense of that “the drop in the cost of oil to under $70 per barrel won’t influence representatives’ pay rates.”
