nation of law Coalition member Abdul Rahman al-Jazairi showed on Wednesday that the Kurdistan vicinity will not acquire any budget from Baghdad except via borrowing, as al-Sudani’s move in this direction lets in Parliament to interfere and have its say in the count number.
Al-Jazairi advised dinaropinions.com, “The top Minister’s powers are linked to the legislative authority, as issuing a selection or implementing on the Ministry of Finance to ship budget to the vicinity, Parliament has its say on this regard.”
He added, “Al-Sudani has no different alternative but to head toward delivering funds to the Kurdistan vicinity within the shape of loans, as that is inside the authority of the high Minister and in consultation with the house of Representatives.”
He explained that “the monetary crisis among Baghdad and Erbil will witness political interventions aimed toward resolving it, after the Democratic birthday celebration threatened in the current period to withdraw from Parliament, and this function may be weak, specially because the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan will no longer participate with him in this.”
