State-owned Rafidain Bank has announced the launch of the 50th batch of its Riyada wa Tamayuz (Entrepreneurship and Excellence) program, aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
This new batch is worth 1 billion Iraqi dinars, or about $770,000, and will support 82 beneficiaries across different projects.
In a statement, the bank said the funding comes as part of its ongoing efforts to help entrepreneurs and young people through the Central Bank of Iraq’s initiative to boost small business financing.
So far, the program has reached 4,976 beneficiaries, with total funding of around 64 billion dinars, or roughly $49.2 million.
Rafidain Bank said the program reflects its commitment to encouraging entrepreneurship and backing projects that help grow and strengthen the national economy.
