On Saturday, the US Ambassador to Iraq, Elena Romanski, announced that the Iraqi government had received $73 million to collaborate with civil society and enhance public services.

Romanski tweeted that supporting community participation and local governance is a top priority for the US-Iraq partnership.

She mentioned that the “Iraq Together” program, funded by the United States Agency for International Development Middle East (USAID Middle East), received $73 million to help the government collaborate with civil society and local communities in enhancing public services.
