Sharp decline in Iraqi oil exports to America

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported a sharp drop in Iraqi oil exports to the United States last week.

According to data reviewed by dinaropinions.com, Iraqi oil exports to the US fell to 140,000 barrels per day, a significant decrease of 130,000 barrels from the previous week’s average of 270,000 barrels per day.

The EIA also noted that the overall average US imports from the top ten oil-exporting countries dropped by 49,000 barrels to 5.84 million barrels per day. Canada remained the top supplier, followed by Saudi Arabia and Colombia. Iraq’s position fell lower due to the ongoing shipping crisis affecting its oil exports.
