Solana Mobile has launched the SKR token airdrop for Seeker smartphone users, enabling them to claim, stake, and participate in governance across the company’s mobile ecosystem.

Announced on Jan. 21, the rollout marks a major step in Solana Mobile’s effort to build an open, community-driven mobile platform powered by on-chain incentives.

SKR airdrop details

Eligible Seeker users can claim SKR directly through the Seed Vault Wallet on their device by opening the Activity Tracking tab and completing the claim process. A small SOL balance is required to cover network fees. Users have 90 days to claim their allocation, after which unclaimed tokens will be returned to the airdrop pool.

Developers are also included in the distribution. Teams that launched approved apps in the Solana Mobile dApp Store during Season 1 can claim SKR via the Publishing Portal, rewarding early builders who supported the Seeker ecosystem.

In total, approximately 2 billion SKR tokens—about 20% of the fixed 10 billion supply—have been allocated to users and developers.

SKR’s role in the ecosystem

SKR functions as both a utility and governance token within the Solana Mobile ecosystem. It powers:

  • Staking and rewards
  • Community governance
  • App discovery and curation in the decentralized app store
  • Device security through a system known as Guardians

Staking is now live, allowing holders to delegate SKR and earn rewards. Token inflation events occur every 48 hours.

Market activity and trading

At the time of reporting, SKR was trading around $0.0101, giving it a market capitalization of roughly $56.6 million. About 5.7 billion tokens are currently in circulation, with a fully diluted valuation near $99.3 million.

SKR is available on major Solana decentralized exchanges, including Raydium, Jupiter, Orca, and Meteora, and is also listed on centralized platforms such as Crypto.com, Bybit, KuCoin, Gate.io, and Bitget. Early trading has been volatile, typical of newly launched tokens.

Solana Mobile emphasized that SKR’s long-term value is tied to ecosystem participation and real usage, rather than short-term price movements.

With SKR now live, Seeker Season 2 is officially underway, introducing new apps, rewards, and activity-based incentives as Solana Mobile continues expanding its community-focused mobile platform.
