The State of Law Coalition reiterated its call for the withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq, particularly American troops, on Thursday.
“There is no justification for the American forces to remain inside Iraq, noting that there is a possibility of expelling these forces if there is a real intention,” said coalition leader Haider Al-Lami.
“The American violations committed in Iraq against the security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces, which requires the executive authority to take serious decisions to withdraw these forces,” he mentioned.
“America is trying to control Iraq militarily, but it is also controlling the Iraqi economy and oil revenues through the Federal Bank,” he went on to say.
