The federal government has paid the salaries of employees in the Kurdistan Region for the months of July and August, according to a government source today, Tuesday.
The source told , “The public authority has assigned 34 billion dinars for the compensations of the district’s workers for the long stretch of July, while it has allotted 550 billion dinars for the pay rates of August to the detriment of the Service of Money and Economy in the Kurdistan Provincial Government.”
The representative for the Kurdistan Local Government, Peshwa Hawrami, said yesterday, “The pay rates of the Kurdistan Area workers have not shown up from Baghdad for over 50 days.”
