The Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq announced on Sunday that Rafidain Bank has deposited 250 billion dinars into its account. The funds will be used to finance the salaries of public sector employees and workers in the region.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region has announced that a deposit of 250 billion dinars has been made through Rafidain Bank into their bank account in the Erbil branch of the Central Bank of Iraq.
The Ministry of Finance received an official letter from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. The letter stipulated the disbursement of 700 billion dinars for the salaries of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
This September, the regional government will receive 2.1 trillion dinars in three installments of 700 billion dinars each, as per the decision of the Council of Ministers.
