The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities said the payment of the 2025 grant for journalists, artists, and writers now depends only on the Ministry of Finance issuing the official disbursement notice.
Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Al-Ulayawi explained that 2025 is coming to an end, which makes it important to speed up the final financial steps. He said the Ministry of Culture has already completed all administrative and technical work related to the grant some time ago.
Al-Ulayawi added that beneficiaries will be informed immediately once the ministry receives official confirmation of the payment date.
He also clarified that the annual grant for writers, artists, and journalists is divided into three categories—A, B, and C. The funding is based on membership in the unions and associations included in the program, and payments are made through Mastercard to ensure the money reaches everyone who is eligible.
