The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has officially launched the guidance manual for central application procedures to private universities, alongside the first phase of the electronic application process for the 2025–2026 academic year.
In a press release received by dinaropinions.com, the ministry stated that the new guide provides comprehensive details for students applying to private universities and colleges across Iraq.
According to the ministry, the manual outlines:
- The general principles of the central electronic application and admission system.
- Terms and conditions for both morning and evening studies.
- Regulations for other admission channels.
- Details of the free scholarship program for medical students.
- The minimum admission requirements for each specialization.
- The admission criteria for all departments.
- And the step-by-step process for applying through the Higher Education Electronic Platform (HEPIQ / Qadam platform).
The statement added that the ministry has officially launched the first phase of the online application, which involves account creation — the initial step students must complete as part of the digital admission process.
Students are encouraged to review the guide carefully and follow the instructions provided to ensure a smooth and accurate application process.
