The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced on Sunday that February 2026 salaries for guaranteed retired workers have been paid.
In a statement, the ministry’s media office quoted Khuloud Hiran, Director General of the Retirement and Social Security Department for Workers, saying that all procedures were completed and the salaries were released starting at noon on Sunday.
The payments cover retirees in Baghdad and all governorates.
The ministry also called on all retirees to visit the designated outlets to receive their salaries.
