The Ministry of Trade on Monday strongly denied rumors spreading on social media and some unofficial outlets claiming that the government plans to cut food rations for employees or affiliates earning more than one million dinars a month.
In a statement received by dinaropinions.com, the ministry said these claims are completely false. It stressed that the food ration system is continuing under the approved rules and that no changes have been made.
The ministry urged citizens not to be misled by rumors and asked them to rely only on official and trusted sources for information. It also encouraged the public to follow updates published through the ministry’s official website and verified pages.
