Today, Wednesday, the prices of the US dollar increased in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region, due to closures.
According to a Shafaq News reporter, the closure of the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges caused an increase in the value of the US dollar. It is now priced at 156,800 dinars for every 100 dollars, which is higher compared to this morning’s rate of 154,300 dinars for every 100 dollars.
According to our correspondent, the exchange rates in local markets in Baghdad have increased. The selling price of 100 dollars has risen to 15,800 Iraqi dinars, while the purchase price is now 156,000 dinars.
The value of the dollar in Erbil has risen, with the selling price now at 156,500 dinars for every 100 dollars, and the purchase price at 156,450 dinars for 100 dollars.
