The National Retirement Authority announced on Monday the completion of all procedures for disbursing end-of-service bonuses to military and civilian retirees for the current month.
In an official statement, Hossam Abdul Sattar, Assistant Head of the Authority, confirmed that the number of registered beneficiaries has reached 8,715, with payments already transferred to designated banks.
Abdul Sattar explained that this step comes within the framework of the Authority’s ongoing plan to simplify administrative procedures and enhance services for retirees, emphasizing that bonuses are now processed within 48 hours of receiving the first pension payment.
“After just 24 hours of receiving the first pension, and according to our updated workflow, the Authority has completed all necessary disbursement procedures and sent the bonuses to banks for retirees referred from both military and civilian institutions within November 2025,” Abdul Sattar stated.
He urged beneficiaries who have received SMS notifications to promptly visit the designated disbursement outlets to collect their end-of-service rewards.
The announcement reflects continued efforts by the National Pension Authority to modernize its financial services and ensure faster, more transparent delivery of benefits to Iraq’s growing retiree community.
