The rise in dollar prices in Baghdad and its decline in Erbil


Shafaq News / The US dollar exchange rate against the Iraqi dinar increased on Saturday in the Central Stock Exchange of the capital Baghdad. At the same time, it also decreased in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
Shafaq News Agency reports that 146,850 Iraqi dinars were recorded for 100 US dollars this morning at Baghdad’s main al-Kifa and al-Harithiya stock exchanges.
While last Thursday morning, the prices were 146,650 dinars for 100 dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that prices increased at exchange shops in local markets in Baghdad, where the selling price reached 147,750 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars. Purchase prices were 145,750 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars.
As for Erbil, the Kurdistan Region’s capital, the dollar’s value fell, as the selling price reached 146,950 dinars against the dollar, and the buying price was 146,650 dinars against 100 dollars.
