The US-Iraqi Supreme Military Committee is conducting an assessment of 3 factors

The US-Iraqi Supreme Military Committee declared on Saturday that several committees have begun their work to evaluate Iraq’s military capabilities.

“Today represents the first step in establishing this Supreme Military Council to enable leaders in the coalition forces and in the Iraqi Armed Forces to contribute to a series of working groups and mutual consent to conduct assessments regarding the three threat factors posed by ISIS, operational and environmental requirements, as well as the capabilities of the Iraqi Armed Forces,” the committee said in a statement that was received by.

“The Supreme Military Committee is working to determine the necessary conditions for the joint task forces of Operation Inherent Resolve during the necessary conditions to transfer the mission from Iraq,” the statement continued.

“The US Department of State, the US Department of Defense, the US Department of State, and the Iraqi Ministry of Defense participated in the inaugural joint security cooperation dialogue between America and Iraq in August of last year in Washington, D.C., affirming their common commitment to security cooperation and their common interest for the stability of the region during the dialogue,” the statement read. Cooperation in Joint Security The coalition’s main goal is to fight ISIS, but the parties also agreed to undertake military-to-military meetings under the designation Supreme Military Committee (HMC) to assess the coalition’s accomplishments and debate possible changes to the coalition’s purpose and presence in Iraq.
