Trescon marks 10 years building MENA government-backed platforms

Trescon is celebrating its 10-year anniversary, marking a decade of organizing government-backed conferences and industry events across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

The company was founded in 2016 in Bengaluru by Mohammed Saleem, Mithun Shetty, and Swarnavo Roy. In 2021, it opened its UAE office and made Dubai its regional headquarters to support expansion across the MEASA region.

Rapid growth over 10 years

Since launching, Trescon says it has:

  • Organized more than 500 events
  • Operated in 10+ countries
  • Connected over 250,000 attendees
  • Facilitated more than 1 million business connections
  • Engaged 3,500+ investors

The company focuses on large leadership events, typically bringing together 3,000 to 10,000 senior industry leaders and policymakers.

Key events in Dubai

Trescon currently runs several major events under Dubai Future Finance Week, organized by the Dubai International Financial Centre.

These include:

  • Dubai FinTech Summit
  • Future Sustainability Forum
  • Future Islamic Finance Forum
  • Reg3 Forum

The Dubai FinTech Summit alone has grown to more than 9,000 participants.

Trescon has also worked on government initiatives such as the World Police Summit, organized by Dubai Police, and the Dubai Future Forum led by the Dubai Future Foundation.

Expanding into new markets

Looking ahead, the company plans to expand further from Dubai into Riyadh, as well as other markets in Southeast Asia and Africa, including Indonesia, Malaysia, and Mauritius.

New platforms are also being developed around artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, STEM, and deep-tech sectors.

According to Trescon leadership, the company now operates six business divisions across seven global offices, supported by a team of more than 250 professionals worldwide.
