The US dollar didn’t have an official rate in Iraq on Saturday because markets were closed for Eid al-Fitr.
Even though trading stopped, some exchange shops in Baghdad were still open in a limited way. In those shops, the dollar was selling at around 155,500 dinars per 100 dollars and buying at 154,500 dinars.
In Erbil, trading had already stopped earlier. The last recorded rates on Thursday showed the dollar selling at 154,600 dinars and buying at 154,500 dinars per 100 dollars.
