The total number of drugs seized at its ports over the past year, including more than 3.5 million pills, was announced by the General Authority of Customs on Tuesday.
In an interview with the official agency, Hassan Al-Ugaili, the head of the General Authority of Customs, stated that “the General Authority of Customs carried out dozens of seizure operations, some of which were related to medicines and others related to illegal goods,” and that “the Anti-Smuggling Department carried out more than seven thousand and 500 investigation operations.” This statement was followed by the following: in every port.
