According to the International Renewable Energy Agency’s (IRENA) annual statistics report, Iraq came in seventh place out of ten Arab nations with respect to its ability to produce power using renewable energy by the end of 2023.
According to the report that “Information” viewed, “the ten most Arab countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and Morocco, have the capacity to generate renewable electricity, and many of them have succeeded in significantly increasing the capacity of renewable sources on an annual basis during the past year (2023).”
