At a gathering of Iraqi expatriates in Houston, Texas, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani stated that the opportunities for investment in Iraq are worth approximately $400 billion.
He said, “Iraq is a country full of opportunities,” emphasizing that Iraq is currently concentrating on development and reconstruction. Outside the country, ongoing efforts may not always be fully visible. However, significant social and economic progress is being made in the nation,” he added.
He made the observation that Iraq has regained its stability and is moving forward with confidence in the right direction. This is especially true now that Iraqis have united to defeat ISIS, which brought together all facets of Iraqi society and led the country toward stability and development.
