Iraq positioned fourth as the biggest power producing country in the Middle Easterner World in 2023.

The all out power age across nine Middle Easterner nations expanded to 1.26 thousand terawatt-hours in 2023, up from 1.21 thousand terawatt-hours in 2022.

Last year, Saudi Arabia produced 422.9 terawatt-hours, placing it first in the region in terms of electricity production. With 220.1 terawatt-hours, Egypt came in second, and the United Arab Emirates came in third with 165 terawatt-hours.

Iraq created 139.4 terawatt-long periods of power in 2023, a 6% expansion from the 131.4 terawatt-hours delivered in 2022.

Kuwait climbed to fifth spot, creating 88.3 terawatt-hours, while Algeria dropped to 6th, with a 5.8% decrease underway to 85.9 terawatt-hours.

Qatar’s electricity production increased by 8.7%, reaching 54.4 terawatt-hours and placing seventh. Oman positioned 10th with a 6.4% expansion to 44.3 terawatt-hours, and Morocco put last with a 2.6% increment, creating 42.2 terawatt-hours in 2023.

Notably, China will produce over 9.4 petawatt-hours of electricity in 2023, making it the world’s largest generator of electricity. It was trailed by the US, which created roughly 4.5 petawatt-hours that year.
