On Sunday, the National Security Service’s draft law and additional laws were discussed by the Parliamentary Security Committee.
According to a statement that was received by /dinaropinions.com/, “the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee held a meeting to discuss the topics included on the agenda, headed by MP Karim Aliwi Al-Muhammadawi, Chairman of the Committee, and attended by members of the Committee.” In addition to discussing the Civil Defense draft law, the articles and paragraphs of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service draft law were discussed during the meeting at the committee headquarters.”
“The committee recommended submitting the draft law of the National Intelligence Service to the presidency of the council to include it on the agenda of the upcoming council sessions for voting on it,” he continued. It also suggested that the civil defense draft law be discussed and voted on during the Iraqi Council of Representatives’ current session.”
