Turkish firm Enka has signed a settlement with Taurus Arm For power Generatıon, Oil Transportation and offerings Ltd. for the conversion of the existing 500 MW easy cycle electricity plant in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq right into a 750 MW mixed cycle strength plant.
The contract value is about USD 289 million [378 billion Iraqi dinars], and the plant is expected to turn out to be operational on thirtieth June, 2028.
Taurus Arm [Taurus Energy] owns the Bazian [Bazyan] power plant in Sulaymaniyah.
