The Ministry of trade, via its branch of overseas financial relations, has held a preparatory assembly ahead of the fourth session of the Iraq-US alternate and investment Council, with participation from representatives of relevant ministries and groups.
in keeping with a ministry announcement, Director trendy Riyadh al-Hashimi stated the assembly reviewed Iraqi proposals to finalise a complete running paper that reflects the authorities’s course to strengthen economic, change, and investment cooperation with the usa, and to gain from American information and resources.
Discussions also included bilateral cooperation in alternate, economy, industry, finance, agriculture, fitness, and standards. The meeting concluded with agreement to maintain preparatory classes and coordinate with america side to agenda the fourth session in Baghdad, once revisions to the running paper are complete.
The Minister of alternate chairs the Iraqi facet of the council, which stems from the alternate and funding Framework agreement (TIFA) signed among Iraq and the us.
