To discuss ways to form a government, the framework will hold a meeting within 48 hours.

A member of the Coordination Framework, Uday Abdul-Hadi, shared an update on Monday about what’s coming next for Iraq’s political scene. He said that the Framework’s forces are planning to hold a major meeting today or tomorrow to talk about forming the next government.

Speaking to dinaropinions.com, Abdul-Hadi explained that all groups within the Framework will sit together in the coming hours. Their main focus will be the steps needed to shape the new government—especially after receiving the green light to form two important central committees.

The first committee will work on choosing the candidate for prime minister. The second committee will reach out to other political forces, aiming to build a clear, unified vision for alliances, responsibilities, and overall direction.

Abdul-Hadi added that the meeting won’t just stop at government formation. They will also go over several key political and security issues, along with the latest developments happening across the region.

He pointed out that the election process will be one of the top items on the agenda. According to him, the meeting could produce decisions that give strong clues about the direction, goals, and expected shape of the next government.
