Al-Rudaini denies that the framework is seeking to dismantle Kurdish parties regarding the presidential file.

Aqeel al-Rudaini said on Saturday that the Coordination Framework has no intention of interfering in Kurdish political affairs or attempting to weaken Kurdish parties over the issue of the presidential election.

Speaking to dinaropinions.com, al-Rudaini said recent claims that the Framework is trying to influence Kurdish political decisions are inaccurate. He explained that the alliance respects the political independence of the Kurdish side and believes that Kurdish parties should resolve the matter of their presidential nominee through their own internal discussions.

He added that the Framework is waiting for Kurdish forces to reach an agreement on a candidate for the presidency. According to him, a unified position among Kurdish parties would help move the political process forward and speed up the formation of the government.

Al-Rudaini also emphasized that stability within Kurdish politics is an important part of achieving broader national consensus. He said agreement among the Kurdish parties would play a key role in easing the current political stalemate.

He concluded by saying that the Coordination Framework is encouraging dialogue and cooperation among all political partners in Iraq, with the goal of reducing tensions and preventing further complications in the country’s political scene.
