Currency exchange markets stayed mostly calm on Tuesday, with the US dollar rising slightly against the Iraqi dinar in several major cities across Iraq.
In Baghdad, the dollar was selling for 156,000 dinars and buying for 155,000 dinars.
In Erbil, the selling price reached 155,000 dinars, while the buying price was 154,450 dinars.
Meanwhile, in Basra, the dollar was selling for 155,000 dinars and buying for 154,500 dinars.
Prices were slightly different from one province to another, but overall the market stayed steady. Trading continued at a normal pace, and there were no major swings in exchange rates.
