Adi Abdul Hadi, the leader of the Al-Fatah Alliance, said on Wednesday that the cost of the Aqaba pipeline project is enough to revive five important Iraqi industries.
“The Aqaba pipeline project is classified as one of the country’s strategic projects, and therefore there must be a genuine feasibility study that takes into consideration Iraq’s interests,” Abdul Hadi stated in an interview with

He went on to say that the cost of the Aqaba pipeline project, which is 16 billion dollars, is enough to bring back five important sectors in Iraq, including the agricultural and industrial sectors. He also said that Baghdad should not give in to American pressure to pass projects that serve certain Middle Eastern countries without Baghdad’s interest in them.
