During his meeting with the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States on Saturday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani emphasized the need of coordinating efforts to help the Palestinian people.
“Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received, this evening, Saturday, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who is currently visiting Iraq, to participate in the Arab Action Conference, which began in Baghdad,” according to a statement received by the Prime Minister’s Media Office.
He stated, “The meeting discussed joint Arab action, and the importance of activating its charters and agreements, especially related to economic integration and other agreements that enhance the strength and status of the Arab system, in a way that achieves the aspirations of Arab countries and peoples.”
The prime minister emphasized the necessity for Arab efforts and stances to be united while restating Iraq’s principled stance on what is occurring in the occupied Palestinian territories.to put a stop to the pain endured by the oppressed Palestinian people.
