Billions of dollars... Iraq's oil revenues during the past month

The Ministry of Oil announced today that it had earned over $8 billion last month.

The Ministry has released a statement indicating that the total exports and revenues for December, based on preliminary statistics from the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), were over $8 billion. The total crude oil exports for the month were (108,056,590) barrels, generating revenues of (8,316,000,000) dollars.

“The total amount of crude oil exported during December from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq was (107,592,532) barrels. Additionally, (464,058) barrels were exported to Jordan.”

She said, “The daily average quantity of exported oil was 3,486,000 barrels and the average price per barrel was $76.96.”

She pointed out that “the Ministry took this monthly measure, believing in keeping the people informed about export operations and the revenues generated from them.”
