Delegate Ali Sadoun affirmed, on Tuesday, that the gas import bill will start to decline beginning in 2025.

He added, “Gas creation will start during 2025 in its most memorable stages, and that implies a reduction in the gas import bill at consistent rates until the phase of adequacy, which we anticipate that Iraq should arrive at inside 3-4 years.”

He brought up that “the gas import bill is costly and can contribute on the off chance that it is adequate to move it to fund administration projects in the governorates, as well as making high adaptability in the chance of trading gas as it is a significant material in the worldwide energy market.”
