The financing for the wages of the Kurdistan Region for the month of March of last year was revealed by the Ministry of Finance today, Thursday.
“The Accounting Department of the Ministry of Finance launched salary financing for the Kurdistan region’s civilian employees and benefits for the disabled in the network directorates,” according to a statement from the Ministry that was obtained by. It also said that this was based on the Prime Minister’s orders, Minister of Finance Taif Sami’s approval, and the information contained in the Federal Court’s letter. He said, “This measure comes within the financial allocations for the month of March 2024.”
The press release stated, “The Ministry informed the Federal Court and the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau of releasing funding for the salaries of beneficiaries in the region for the month of March, because the mechanism for completing the localization of their salaries requires an additional period of time.”
The Ministry restated in the statement that the Kurdistan Regional Government is legally liable for the veracity and authenticity of the data and information that it submits to the relevant regulatory and legal entities.
