Today, the Ministry of Finance announced the launch of bonds worth two trillion dinars.
According to a finance statement obtained by NRT Arabic, it was revealed that “the third bonds were issued under the name of reconstruction bonds for an amount of two trillion dinars, in accordance with Budget Law No. 13 for the years (2023-2024-2025) for the period from December 31, 2023, until December 30, 2024.”
“He explained that the bond categories offered were divided into two types: a bond of 500,000 Iraqi dinars with an annual interest rate of 6% for a period of two years and a bond of 1 million dinars with an annual interest rate of 8% for a period of four years.”
The Finance Ministry has requested that those interested in purchasing from the public submit their purchase requests through licensed banks. The Ministry urges investors and citizens to take advantage of this investment opportunity as the size of the issue will be very limited. It is worth noting that these bonds are tradable in the Iraq Stock Exchange.
