For the purposes of the annual inventory, two government banks decide to stop money transfers and credit activities

Two government banks announced the suspension of financial transfers and credit activities coinciding with the end of the current year on Wednesday.

A statement from the Trade Bank of Iraq mentioned that all financial transfers and credit activities will be suspended starting Sunday, December 24, 2023. This is being done in order to conduct the annual inventory as per their standard policies and procedures.

He stated that the deadline for financial transfer requests is December 21, 2023. Services will resume on January 3, 2024.

The media office of Rafidain Bank has announced that credit activity of all kinds will be stopped, and loan applications and other banking services will not be promoted until next year 2024. This is due to the approaching end of the fiscal year and the need to conduct the annual inventory. Credit and promotional activity will resume after the inventory is completed next year.
