Iraq and Turkey agree to open offices to follow up on the work of implementing the development path

Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi, the minister of transportation, and Abdul Qadir Oraloglu, the minister of transportation from Turkey, decided on Friday to create offices in Baghdad and Ankara to monitor the progress of building the development route.

The two ministers decided to set up offices to monitor the work of implementing the development road in both Baghdad and Ankara, according to a statement from the ministry obtained by the. It further stated that “Al-Saadawi confirmed that international companies are anticipating promising investment opportunities in the development road project, and that Iraq is serious about Completing all project requirements.”

He said that “the Turkish Minister of Transport appreciated Al-Saadawi’s initiatives in the air transport sector between the two countries,” urging “Iraq to increase the number of Turkish flights to Iraq.”

He went on to say, “Al-Saadawi asked the Turkish side to facilitate the procedures for granting visas to Iraqis and to open visa-granting offices at airports.”

Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi, the minister of transportation, spoke with his Turkish colleague today, Friday, about the specifics of the development road project.
