Iraq exports over 5 million barrels of oil to US in May

The US Energy Data Organization (EIA) said on Saturday that Iraq’s oil products to the US outperformed 5,000,000 barrels during May.

As per the EIA, Iraq’s unrefined petroleum products to the US in May were roughly 5.8 million barrels, with a typical day to day shipment of 187,000 barrels, not as much as Iraq’s oil commodities to the US in April, when they were 8.86 million barrels, with a typical everyday commodity of 295,000 barrels.

During the first week of May, Iraqi crude oil exports to the United States averaged 123,000 barrels per day; in the subsequent week, 239,000 barrels; 233,000 barrels in the third week; and 126,000 barrels per day on average in the fourth week.

The EIA referenced that Iraq was the fourth-biggest oil exporter to the US during May, following Canada, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia, and the second-biggest oil exporter in the Middle Easterner locale, following Saudi Arabia.

As per the EIA, Canada was the biggest oil provider to the US in May, trailed by Mexico and Saudi Arabia.
