Iraq girds to Revive Nuclear Energy Program

Iraq is preparing to restart its long-abandoned nuclear energy program.

The government of Iraq has announced that it intends to bring the nation’s long-abandoned nuclear energy program back to life.

Along with Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), there is a greater regional drive to build nuclear capabilities, which is why Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ Al-Sudani made this remark.

Even if Iraq is still far from finishing such a project, the prime minister’s declaration from Sudan highlights his involvement with international organizations and is a diplomatic victory.
