Iraq ranks seventh in Turkish real estate purchases in November

On Saturday, the Turkish Statistical Institute announced that Iraqis ranked seventh among the countries that purchased Turkish real estate last November.

According to the Institute, the number of houses sold in November decreased by 61.1% to 2342.

The most popular cities for purchasing houses in Turkey are Antalya, with 790 homes sold; Istanbul, 710 houses sold; and Mersin, 316 houses sold.

According to the report, Russians were Turkey’s highest foreign real estate buyers in November, purchasing 737 properties. Iranians came in second place with 234 homes, followed by Ukraine with 128 homes, Kazakhstan with 117 homes, and Saudi Arabia with 110 homes.

Iraq used to hold the first position in the past, but now it ranks seventh.
