Iraq surpasses Saudi Arabia and is ranked third among America’s largest oil exporters

The US Energy Information Administration reported that Iraq’s oil exports to the US increased last week.

According to an administration table, the US imported an average of 4.710 million barrels of crude oil daily from eight significant countries during the past week. This is a decrease of 1.132 thousand barrels per day compared to the previous week, where the average was 5.842 million barrels per day.

The table indicates that Iraq’s oil exports to America amounted to 178,000 barrels per day last week, which is a significant increase of 142,000 barrels per day from the previous week’s average of 36,000 barrels per day.

According to his report, the majority of the oil revenues earned by America in the past week came from Canada, with an average of 3,243 million barrels per day. Mexico followed with an average of 571 million barrels per day. Nigeria contributed an average of 174 thousand barrels per day, while Brazil contributed an average of 148 thousand barrels per day.

The administration has reported that the United States imports approximately 143,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Colombia, 141,000 barrels per day from Saudi Arabia, and 112,000 barrels per day from Ecuador. However, the US does not import any crude oil from Libya or Russia.
