As part of its efforts to promote efficient irrigation in the agricultural sector, the Iraqi Cabinet has decided to enter into a contract with Bauer, an Austrian equipment company, subject to legal considerations.
A delegation from the company, led by Financial Director Andreas Schitter, visited Iraq in February and met with Iraq’s Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Jabr al-Olayawi (Obada).
The company clarified its pivot and linear mobile spray systems and mentioned that financing can be arranged through the Austrian Central Bank.
