Iraq’s oil export revenues exceed $8.3 billion in December

On Sunday, the Ministry of Oil in Iraq verified that the country’s oil export earnings up to December exceeded $8.3 billion.

The State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO) released final figures showing that more than 108.05 million barrels of crude oil were exported in December, bringing in more over $8.31 billion in income.

According to SOMO data, 464,058 barrels of crude oil were transferred to Jordan during December, out of the 107,592,532 barrels that were sold overall from oil fields in central and southern Iraq.

The average price per barrel was $76.91, down from $82.36 in November, when over 102.97 million barrels of crude oil were exported, bringing in over $8.48 billion in income.

Iraq exported over 109.54 million barrels of crude oil overall in October 2023, bringing in over $9.59 billion in income.

In September, Iraq exported more over 3.43 million barrels on a daily average.

In August, Iraq exported over 106.12 million barrels, bringing in $8,997,851 in total income.

In July, Iraq exported over 106.75 million barrels of crude oil, bringing in an estimated $8.3 billion in income.

In June, the nation’s oil export earnings came to over $7.11 billion, down from over $7.3 billion in May.

An official announcement states that Iraq earned more than $7.69 billion from oil exports in April.

Over 100.9 million barrels of crude oil were exported in total in March, bringing in slightly more than $7.5 billion in income.

In February, Iraq exported little over 92.25 million barrels of crude oil, bringing in over $7.62 billion in income. In January, the country sold over 101.24 million barrels, bringing in over $7.66 billion.
