Iraq's revenues from selling oil exceeded $9 billion in October

Based on preliminary data released by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), the Ministry of Oil announced on Wednesday the entire amount of income and exports realized for the month of October 2023.

In an announcement that Al-Maalouma obtained, the Ministry declared that “the total amount of crude oil exports during the past month amounted to 109.55 million barrels, with revenues amounting to 9.67 billion dollars.”

She said, “The total quantities of crude oil exported last October from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 108.05 million barrels, while the quantities exported to Jordan amounted to 464.73 thousand barrels, while exports from Qayyarah were 1.03 million barrels.”

The average price per barrel was $88.26, and the average daily export amounts were 3.53 million barrels.
