Oil announces the launch of Iraqi-Turkish discussions in Baghdad to enhance bilateral cooperation

On Wednesday, the Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced discussions in the oil and energy sector with Turkey began in Baghdad.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul Ghani, received a statement from the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey, Alp Arslan Bayraktar, according to the Ministry.

The Ministry discussed ways to enhance cooperation in oil and energy.

The statement clarified that officials from the Ministries of Oil, Energy, and Natural Resources in Turkey held a meeting to discuss mutual interest issues and enhance cooperation in all fields, particularly in the oil and energy sector.

It is hoped that the guest minister will meet with several government officials during their visit to Baghdad, as stated in the announcement.
