Oil prices remain stable amid anticipation of Ukrainian peace talks.

Oil prices held steady on Tuesday after slipping about 2% the day before. Traders are watching two big things right now: ongoing peace talks over the Ukraine conflict and the upcoming U.S. interest rate decision.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for January was trading at $58.75 a barrel, down just 0.22% from yesterday’s close.

Brent crude for February was at $62.39 a barrel, a small drop of 0.16% from the previous session.

For now, oil is staying fairly stable as the market waits to see what comes out of the peace talks and how the Federal Reserve plans to move on interest rates.
