Oil: Revenues last October amounted to $9 billion and 669 million

The Ministry of Oil said on Wednesday that $9 billion and 669 million was made from the sale of crude oil last month.

According to preliminary numbers released by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), the total volume of crude oil exported for the month of October was 109 million and 545 thousand and 589 barrels, with earnings totaling (9.669) billion dollars, according to a statement from the ministry.

“Total quantities exported of crude oil for the month of October from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (108) million and (50) thousand and (360) barrels, while exports to Jordan amounted to (464) One thousand (728) barrels, while exports from Qayyarah were one million (30) thousand (501) barrels,” the statement stated, citing the statistics.

The press release added, “While the average daily quantities exported reached (3) million (533) thousand barrels per day, the average price of one barrel reached (88.26) dollars.”
