The Parliamentary Finance Committee has denied any movement to dismiss the Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Alaq, on Tuesday.
The head of the committee, Atwan Al-Atwani, stated that the news circulating about the Parliamentary Finance Committee’s intention to dismiss the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq is false.
Al-Atwani urged the media to rely on the official news released by the committee’s presidency. He emphasized the committee’s complete support for the Central Bank of Iraq’s actions to restore stability to the market and regulate the exchange rate. The committee is in constant communication and coordination with the bank to address any issues and obstacles with the aim of restoring things to normal.
