Representative Hussein Arab issued a warning to the administration today, Wednesday, stating that postponing the delivery of the 2024 budget schedules will have a detrimental effect on the government’s performance.
“The House of Representatives must approve the current year’s budget schedules in order for the government to move forward with its projects,” Arab stated.
He stated that the House of Representatives would “approve the budget schedules for the current year as soon as they reach the Parliamentary Finance Committee, noting that the delay in sending the schedules negatively affects the process of disbursing dues, in addition to stopping the investment and operational doors,”
requested that the government “expedite sending the schedules.” Particularly considering that its chapters are set and the budget has not changed.
